Editorial and corrections policy

Who is responsible
InsuranceTipsPro is operated by an independent site editor and research desk. We do not claim to be licensed insurance producers, attorneys, accountants, medical professionals, or financial advisers. A named professional review is never implied unless the page identifies that reviewer and the relevant credential.
What qualifies for the reviewed collection
A page must solve a defined document-reading or comparison task, identify its limitations, link material primary references, and avoid personalized recommendations. Word count and page count are not release criteria.
Source hierarchy
- Insurance regulators and government agencies.
- The issued policy, endorsement, form, or official provider document relevant to the claim.
- Clearly labeled worked examples that expose assumptions rather than predict an individual result.
We prefer primary sources and remove claims that cannot be supported at the level of precision presented.
Automation and AI assistance
Automation may assist with outlines, formatting, link checks, and consistency checks. It is not treated as a source or professional reviewer. Pages generated or transformed with automation are held from the reviewed collection until a manual pass verifies the reader task, claims, references, limitations, and links.
Commercial independence
Advertising and affiliate relationships do not determine conclusions, inclusion, or ordering. Sponsored links must be labeled and do not count as evidence. The reviewed collection does not present a paid placement as an editorial recommendation.
Corrections
Readers can report a disputed statement through the contact page. Include the page URL and a supporting primary source. We correct material errors, update the source-review date, and remove pages from the reviewed collection when the evidence cannot be resolved.
Content is educational. Insurance forms, rules, and availability vary. The issued contract, written insurer response, and applicable jurisdiction control. Consult an appropriately licensed professional for advice specific to your circumstances.
